Mr. Sandy Dean

Mendocino Redwood Company
P.O. Box 340
Calpella, CA 95418

Dear Mr. Dean,

I'm writing on behalf of the Albion River Watershed Protection Association/Friends of Salmon Creek to request the coho salmon and hydrologic data collected for your company's lands on the Albion River.

As you are aware, this request follows the unsuccessful appeals that Mr. Russel Fieber and Ms. Linda Perkins have made to you for this information, and we of ARWPA wish to assure you of our willingness to accept the data in its current form, so that there need be no delay for "formatting." We would be most happy to come by your office at your convenience to pick up the data.

As local citizens extremely concerned about the fate of an endangered species native to our watershed, we ask you promptly to provide us with the data Mendocino Redwood Company has gathered about that species. For the coho salmon, extinction is a possibility that looms much too large. We can only act intelligently on their behalf if we are informed- and for that we need your help.

Sincerely yours,

Elizabeth Tallent
