Little Mill Creek fuel break before and after

The Little Mill Creek Shaded Fuel Break was completed this month, located along 2.3 miles of ridgeline in Anderson Valley, half of which is located on land owned by Mendocino Redwood Company.  The project was funded through a grant obtained by the Mendocino County Fire Safe Council with matching funds from Mendocino Redwood Company.  The fuel break now serves as a location where a wildfire has a better chance of being suppressed near communities served by Holmes Ranch Road and Nash Mill Road.
