SCOTIA, Calif (September 16th, 2021) - The company hosted the fifth annual Redwood Region Resource Rally (RRRR) in Scotia for high school juniors and seniors from throughout Northern CA. to educate and interest students in careers in the lumber industry. Director, Forest Sciences Sal Chinnici and Recruiting Manager, Victor Balestrieri, were on hand at the event to connect with students at the careers workshop, along with representatives from College of the Redwood and Humboldt State University.

This year there were approximately 125 students from 10 different high schools from Del Norte down to Middletown. They rotated through six venues: Forestry, Mechanics and Heavy Equipment, Timber Harvest, Fisheries, Mill Tour, and Careers Workshop. Huge thanks to our partners North Coast Agriculture Partners, and the Redwood Region Logging Conference for putting this together with us!
